Cryopen

Treats skin imperfections including warts, verrucas, skin tags, milia, cherry angioma, moles, seborrheic keratosis and many more.

Our Cryopen® treatments are carried out using cryotherapy techniques.

Cryotherapy uses liquid nitrous oxide to freeze and destroy skin lesions, often treatments can be treated successfully with a single treatment.

It is virtually painless, requires no anaesthetic and has minimal scarring.

FAQ

Duration of Treatment

Cryotherapy takes approximately 15 minutes, which includes the consultation to establish the individual needs for each patent, the treatment and then any post treatment care and opportunity to answer your questions.

Recovery Time

No recovery time is required post treatment, however the area being treated needs to be protected

Scarring does not usually occur, however pigment changes can occur in dark skin tones.  Darkening or lightening of the skin can occur temporarily.

Course length

Generally, Cryotherapy is a permanent method of removal and one treatment can be enough in some instances.

A follow up review two weeks post treatment is recommended and a further treatment will be included if necessary.

Deeper, larger lesions may require several treatments - this will be discussed at initial consultation.
